Dream House Search Process
➵ Meet with one of our agents and chat about your hopes for your next home. We will help you map out a plan for financing and a timeline for the home search.
➵ Create an interactive online Ideabook on Houzz, where you can browse and share architecture and design ideas that will help us learn your personal style.
➵ As soon as you are prequalified for a mortgage, your agent will subscribe you to the REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service, which will e-mail you the listings that come closest to matching your specifications, before they are available on sites like Zillow and Trulia.
➵ Dream House Real Estate will simultaneously reach out to our large pool of professional and personal contacts for other houses that are for sale, but not listed on the MLS.
➵ Your agent will help you select which properties to view, based on which have the most potential for you, in every sense. We will advise you as to whether or not your design/lifestyle dreams might work in certain spaces; and if so, how to achieve the best result.
➵ Dream House Real Estate will show you an unlimited number of homes until you are satisfied that you are making the right decision. We will never make you feel unnecessarily rushed.
➵ In investigating properties, Dream House Real Estate will provide you with all available material facts relevant to each property, so that you can make wise decisions, based on accurate information. In vetting properties, we will also provide perspective on the properties' strengths and weaknesses, relative to others on the market.
➵ After you select one or more properties that you'd like to pursue, your agent will help you write and submit the Offer to Purchase and Contract(s). Your agent will negotiate on your behalf, until there is a strong contract, with terms that are right for you.
➵ Dream House Real Estate will guide you through the closing process, from the effective date of the contract, until the deed is recorded on your new home. We will work from a closing checklist that will walk us through the due-diligence process in an organized fashion. We will help you select all the necessary due-diligence and closing professionals, and will coordinate with them, to help make sure everything is done correctly and on schedule.
➵ Throughout the length of our Buyer-Agency Agreement, we will text, e-mail or call you at least once a day to check in, if that is convenient for you.
